We have had a great time at the PPMA Virtual Conference 2020 over the last two days, hearing some interesting and thought-provoking insights from speakers. As one of the platinum sponsors, exhibiting was a bit different this year as we created a series of videos showcasing great work our teams are doing to support the HR Community. You can find out more here:
Exploring PPMA Theme Physical Space through Communication and Technology
With all the challenges that currently face HR professionals, communication has become key. As a Managed Service Provider of temporary staff, we have been utilising technology to keep dialogue open with our clients so we can understand their capacity of workload now and in the future; ensuring the supply chain is breathable and prepared to support staffing requirements. This proactively ensures that there is never shortfall or surprises that could cause problems for our clients.

Exploring PPMA Theme Innovation and Creativity with Talent Pools
A great example of innovation that our teams have been working on is Talent Pools. Powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI), our Talent Pools create a comprehensive database of candidates that can be leveraged from existing recruitment work and previously engaged workers. This dynamic solution uses automated technology and AI to build candidate profiles, match them to roles in CR.Net and create a new route to market for hiring managers. Combined with our Matrix SCM Neutral Vendor Managed Service, this new route to market helps drive quicker processes through technology and cost saving by directly hiring workers.

The Importance of Social Value in the PPMA Theme People
One thing we wanted to emphasise is the importance of Social Value and what organisations can do to push it up their agendas. The term ‘Social Value’ may not be fully understood by all. A helpful way to look at Public Service Organisations is that they are Social Purpose Organisations. Lots of companies don’t realise they are doing Social Value already; it is important to identify it and make the terminology wider spread.
