We have been working with Waltham Forest Council since January 2012 under a Neutral Vendor Managed Service model for Temporary Staff. To drive further savings and value through the contract we have been trialing them on our Hybrid Model. We are proud to announce that having seen the positive impact Waltham Forest Council have extended their contract through YPO.

Why Transition from Neutral Vendor to the Matrix SCM Hybrid Model?

We have seen the positive impact our Hybrid Model has had on London Boroughs we work with such as Hackney and Lambeth. This approach involves building on the Neutral Vendor model by including an On-Site Account Manager who will provide a higher touch approach. Which involves pro-actively managing the different pathways for Interim and Specialist roles, challenging, and supporting hiring managers and suppliers to get the most value from the contract.

For Waltham Forest we committed to reduce spend and FTE, helping them to convert temporary staff to permanent. This has been successful over the 6-month trial of the Hybrid Model, which resulted in a direct award to extend our partnership contract through YPO.

Driving Social Value in Waltham Forest:

Our Regeneration Manager has also began working with Waltham Forest to drive community engagement through Social Value activities. Helping them to get more value from the contract outside of our normal process of managing temporary staffing.
