Managed Services
Neutral Vendor
Aug 2020

As a Managed Service Provider (MSP) of contingent staff, part of our role is to support our clients’ long-term workforce strategy. One example of this is how we protect our clients transition temporary workers to become permanent members of staff at no cost through fair employment.

Mutually Beneficial Contracts

Our contracts are built to support both parties. Clients are on beneficial terms and protected in situations like transitioning temporary workers to permanent members of staff. On top of that there are benefits for agencies, as our Neutral Vendor model guarantees them access to our platform that our clients exclusively use to procure over £450 million of temporary staff spend on a level playing field.

Clients Transitioning Temporary to Permanent

Under some Managed Service Providers, transitioning temporary worker to a permanent member of staff can cost a significant amount of money. Through the Matrix SCM Neutral Vendor model, our contracts can allow clients to transition temporary staff to be permanent members of their workforce for no cost through fair employment. By following this process, we saved clients on transaction fees, benefitting their organisation both financially and strategically.

“We had an exercise where we wanted to transition workers from Temporary contracts to Permanent positions. Previously, agencies would often charge fees when we transferred workers to full time posts. Using Matrix SCM we were able to transition long standing contractors to new roles to help us meet our long-term workforce strategy.”

Opening Opportunities to Agencies

Our Neutral Vendor model provides agencies with equal access to roles by providing suppliers with exclusive opportunities across our client base that spends £450 million a year on temporary staff on a level playing field. This allows our supply chain to put candidates in front of clients; safe in the knowledge they will make a fair decision.

Overview

Our contracts are built to support both our clients and supply chain of recruitment agencies. Having contracts with a Neutral Vendor means that our clients are on more beneficial terms than they would be directly working with a recruitment agency. Our supply chain of agencies benefits from being able to freely bid for work with our clients that they otherwise would not be able to see externally. Our opportunities are all equal access meaning that SMEs can bid on the same level as larger agencies.
