Royal British Legion

We are delighted to announce that The Royal British Legion have decided to partner with Matrix SCM, following the award of a 4 year temporary staffing contract.

The charity selected Matrix based on an evaluation of quality and price following a further competition exercise carried out under the national MSTAR2 framework.

Barry Moseley, Managing Director of Matrix SCM said, “We’re extremely excited to be helping The Royal British Legion to continue the great work it does every day by providing support for the armed forces community. We want to ensure that we provide the charity with a process that makes it easier for its staff to hire the best quality candidate at the right price”

The Royal British Legion will use Matrix SCM’s CR.Net technology to improve the end-to-end process of engaging agency workers. As a first generation customer of a vendor neutral model, the charity is set to benefit from substantial cashable savings and significant process efficiencies.

The key objectives of the new contract will be to:

  • Ensure candidate and supplier compliance
  • Streamline payment transactions
  • Increase value for money
  • Provide a wider choice of high quality temporary agency workers
  • Improve management information over the engagement of contingent labour
  • Reduce overall expenditure for temporary agency workers.
