In a time where community support is needed more than ever, we are continuously looking at ways, as a supply chain management company, we can support our suppliers and local businesses.

How We Support Local Recruitment Agencies

Local suppliers and SME’s have always been central to our delivery model. Approximately 80% of our supply chain is currently defined as an SME and our priority is to ensure our clients local recruitment agencies are enrolled to supply to the client prior to the go live of contracts. We understand the importance of the social and economic impacts of buying locally when contracting with our local authority customers, in particular during the current pandemic the importance of supporting local suppliers to ensure businesses remain trading. It is important now more than ever to encourage the use of local suppliers to our customers and our delivery model supports this goal.

Managing and engaging our Supply Chain

Over the last three weeks our Supplier Engagement Team have ramped up their work with supporting suppliers, they have been proactively engaging with new local suppliers to get them registered to supply chains in job categories they can support.

Supporting Lancashire County Council:

Lancashire County Council currently have 137 active placements through CR.Net for care assistants across 16 different residential Care Homes. Over 90% of these roles have been filled by local agencies in Lancashire. Our Supplier Engagement Team have continued to onboard local suppliers and have built on the supply chain, in which Lancashire previously used one local agency, and are now currently sourcing candidates from over 8 local suppliers.

Supporting Flintshire Council:

Over 70% of placements at Flintshire Council in job categories including General Industrial, Social Care Unqualified, Sec and Admin and Housing have been filled by agencies based in North Wales

Visibility of roles

We are encouraging our supply to use our Supplier Demand Site which helps suppliers to see the current demand in their local area. Our Demand Site allows suppliers to search for roles via specific post codes.

How you as the Client can view your Supplier Locality

Our Demand Management Module provides our customers with a dashboard report including an integration to Google Maps that displays local business inclusion. The Demand Management Module allows our customers to see which requirements are filled locally, in terms of agency location.

Engaging with Local Suppliers in the future

We will continuously look to ways we can further support our suppliers and will we be flexible and fluid with any approach to this. We thank our suppliers for their continuous support during these uncertain times.
