After the success of last years quarterly focus groups, on Tuesday the 29th of January Matrix SCM ran our first client forum of 2019. This involved meeting with our leading London Councils to discuss best practices and create action points to help everyone deliver better results and services.

Referencing:
With CR.NET being the technology that connects councils to recruitment agencies, one of the first subjects on the agenda was the right to represent and referencing. Our Business Director Julian Panter explained how our system checks N.I. numbers and how our Supplier Engagement team are going to introduce new compliance and right to represent documents for agencies.

Christmas Shutdowns:
Another top subject from the agenda was the savings made by having a Christmas Shutdown, with Hackney having run this for a few years now with great results. Enfield tried it for the first time and saved circa £300,000. A fantastic saving for the council by running a Christmas Shutdown for all employees excluding critical roles such as care workers and waste management.

Integrations:
David Terry delivered a presentation looking into the Digital Agenda and how councils are digitising and improving their recruitment processes. One of the largest aspects of this is Integrating CR.NET with other systems that are used throughout the recruitment lifecycle. Further information can be found about this in our new Integration brochure. Which can be found online here:

We have a digital library of all of our research documents which is available here.

All in all the forum was a great success and we can’t wait to catch up again next quarter.
