Each year Matrix SCM are audited by an external party to review and ensure that we have everything correctly in place. We are delighted to announce that after being audited for 2 days this week we have been awarded both the ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 for a further 12 months.

The Auditor described our audit as fantastic and she was extremely pleased with everything we are doing and that we have put into place. We scored excellently on all areas of our business and the auditor was thoroughly impressed with what we have put in place.

What are these audits?

ISO stands for International Organisation for Standardisation:

ISO 9001 - Auditing Quality Management

Looking at the way an organisation proves its quality credentials, the ISO 9001 accreditation covers our quality management and looks at all the policies and procedures we have put in place to run our business.

ISO 27001 - Auditing Information Security Management

Our Information Security Management is audited through the ISO 27001, it’s a way of making sure that we are managing information security risks effectively. Covering our I.T. Management systems and looking into the system provisions we have in place.
