Matrix SCM is delighted to announce that we have been re-awarded the contract for Wokingham Council under a Hybrid Managed Service Model. Having worked together since November 2016, Wokingham Council have had great success with the Matrix SCM, and we are proud to continue to partner with them to meet their contingent workforce goals.

Project brief:

The goal for Wokingham Council when we started working together was to change the mindset around recruitment processes. Coming from a PSL background with no technology involved, we had to change perceptions internally to get managers to engage in their new temporary recruitment model. Helping train them on the system and see the efficiency benefits that come with a technology-based model. On top of that, there was a real focus on increasing the quality of Social Care workers for the Council.

Solutions:

Three years into our partnership, managers are seeing the benefits of Matrix CR.Net platform. As we have moved from system training to immersion sessions to improve the technology. Managers have become great at accessing their Management Information and inputting all roles through the system so that they have a fully auditable process, that guarantees 100% compliant workers. As well as improvements to efficiencies, the Neutral Vendor Model has also provided cashable savings at the Council by helping them to reduce the amount they spend when hiring Temporary workers.

Next Steps:

Over the next 2 years, we will be working with the Council to further drive efficiencies, by exploring integration our CR.Net platform with wider processes such as their Finance systems. By moving to the Hybrid Managed Service model to provide a more flexible approach, that is tailored to their hiring managers specific needs.
