Moving into our fourth extension, we have successfully introduced our Statement of Work solution to drive and deliver further value, providing Enfield with greater control and visibility of their Professional Services and Consultancy spend on over 200 Construction Projects that have been successfully transferred to our SoW Managed Service solution using Matrix MM

Statement of Work Managed Service

Matrix Managed Marketplace (Matrix MM) is our Statement of Work solution involving high touch, hands on support from our specialist teams to manage our client’s projects from source to pay. Starting with Construction and IT projects, our Implementation and Business Management teams have supported the transition to the Matrix MM managed service model providing System Training, onboarding existing Suppliers, Transferring all projects to Statement of Work and developing a bespoke portal for internal users.

As a market leader in the managed service sector our training goes beyond the system, process and workflows. Our implementation programme ensures that stakeholders and users understand the commercial benefits of how statement of work milestone payment functions and how they can build projects around them. Matrix MM’s operations team provides hands on support assisting with Statement of Requirement creation, ensuring projects are scoped out correctly for budgets, as well as introducing project management skills to ensure milestones are hit and all procurement is IR35 compliant.

Transitioning and Driving Visibility & Control

Our Statement of Work solution is delivered using a blend of innovative technology combined with experienced personnel which has empowered Enfield to take control of over 200 Construction projects, ensuring complete visibility of how the projects are progressing along with controlling and managing all costs and payments involved. Our Statement of Work solution provides an effective, compliant route to procuring outcome-based activities, focused on driving efficient processes and value for money. The transition to the Matrix MM model has been extremely positive for both suppliers and customers, who are now able to control costs and pay against each milestone delivered.

Matrix MM’s specialist SoW Procurement teams have proactively supported customer stakeholders at every stage of the project life cycle, helping shape and develop project briefs, determine milestones for payment, and create invoicing schedules for each individual project. Our platform manages the complete end-to-end procurement process, including evaluating and monitoring at project delivery stages. It also provides stakeholders with powerful, feature-rich reporting and business intelligence tools to analyse, review and control their Professional Services and Consultancy spend.
