Redbridge Council were working with a Recruitment Agency's Managed service to supply their contingency resourcing and were experiencing problems with fulfilment and the agency not releasing roles to the whole supply chain. Having previously worked with Matrix SCM as a Neutral Vendor Managed Service, they wanted to go out to market for a neutral solution that would provide them with the best value.  

Project brief:

The council were looking for a flexible approach that would help them make additional savings, increase fulfilment rates and help the hiring managers to become self-sufficient with support and reports. After a positive experience with the Neutral Vendor Managed Model where roles are released to all agencies on the supply chain, they knew they wanted a service that could provide a neutral approach. On top of that, as they were going out to market to ensure they were getting the best value, they wanted to see what additional services could be offered to support wider projects that the council were undertaking.

Matrix SCM’s Hybrid Contingent Resourcing model proved to be the ideal approach to support Redbridge towards their goals. This flexible model combines our traditional Neutral Vendor approach, with more on-site support that is hands-on for specialist and executive roles that can help Hiring Managers with problems and challenge their resourcing decisions. This Hybrid approach will help Redbridge Council to create more cashable savings and increase fulfilment rates.

Additional services such as the Management Information and Social Value was also a deciding factor. The MI allows managers to download reports and become self-sufficient, whilst our Social Value team can offer elements of support to large regeneration projects that the council are currently undertaking.
