Matrix SCM are proud to announce that, having worked with Wiltshire Council since 2017, they are extending their contract with a view to continue the great work we have been delivering together. The roll out of our new Business Intelligence suite assisted with the decision as Wiltshire expressed what great value the tool has had on expanding their reporting of the Councils agency staff.
In 2017, Wiltshire Council ran a full procurement exercise for a Managed Service Provider of Temporary Staff. Having worked with their existing provider for around 4 years, they saw the new tender process as an opportunity to consider the current and future needs of the Council. This enabled Wiltshire to identify their long-term goals of driving further efficiencies in their processes and value from the contract through reporting and savings.
“We ensured that we strengthened requirements around data reporting and supplier compliance within the tender as well as addressing new requirements such as IR35.”
Jane Graham, Resourcing Manager, HR and Organisational Development, Wiltshire Council, 2017
Following the successful award of Matrix SCM through the tender, we have been helping Wiltshire drive efficiencies and value through the contract. This helping them to strengthen their reporting through our existing suite and ensuring 100% compliance across the board through the process built into CR.Net.
We recently rolled out our new Business Intelligence tool that builds on our existing reporting suite allowing you to instantly run reports, dive into data and review dashboards of data captured from CR.Net. This allowing users to drill down into specific figures across the organisation and create visual snapshots of what is happening in real-time.
With all agency spend being processed through our end-to-end procurement platform CR.Net, the data our system holds can provide powerful insight into factors such as spending, savings and performance within job categories and departments. Our Reporting and Business Intelligence tools allow clients to dive into that data; providing insights and powerful visualisations that help everyone understand what is happening on site.
From originally winning the contract in 2017 due to our reporting suite, to 2020 where we have expanded our reporting with the introduction of our Business Intelligence tools, Matrix SCM are constantly looking for ways for clients to get more value from our Neutral Vendor Managed Service contracts. Wiltshire Council are a great example of how we are continually developing our technology to further help clients to meet their goals. Technology such as our Business Intelligence tools help them to further drill into data, giving them full visibility and control of their agency spend.
