Last week our Social Value Team spent the day at Oasis Academy Enfield supporting year 11 students at their Career Day. Every student from the year group got the opportunity to practice an interview and receive feedback on their answers.
As part of our Social Value agenda with Enfield Council, we have been working alongside Enfield Careers Service to support young people in the community.
Last month we provided insight into the pro’s and con’s of University life and the variety of roles available in local Councils. Helping them the students to make decisions about the next steps in their careers. Whereas this recent session focused in on the Interview process, which is an important life skill for students to help them on their career journeys.
It was great to see so many well-prepared students and hear about their ambitions for the future! Calling upon the experience of our recruitment supply chain, we had volunteers from Eden Brown Synergy taking part in the interviews to help Oasis Academy students.
Matrix SCM have teamed up with Enfield Careers Service for a number of different events now and we are looking forward too many more opportunities to support Enfield students.
